At the request of Calhoun County Clerk, Alma Davis, former County Treasurer, Kristi Webb, and supported by newly appointed County Treasurer, Shana Carter; the Calhoun County Quorum Court approved an agreement authorizing Financial Intelligence (FI) of Little Rock to install new county government financial software. The Court's action displaced a long time financial software services provider.  Mrs. Davis told the court that selecting FI to provide new financial software would bring better customer service and fresher software to the courthouse and would allow Calhoun County to purchase its own computer hardware. The old software provider required Calhoun County to purchase all computer hardware through them for a much higher cost.
